Office Administrator

Location: Atlanta, GA

The Opportunity

Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D) is seeking an experienced and proactive Office Administrator to support our Atlanta team. This is a newly created role and a meaningful one!

As the first Office Administrator in this location, you will help define how the office operates. You will build processes, create structure and efficiencies to best support the staff. You'll also foster an inviting, professional environment where our team can do their best work.

This role requires someone who is energized by ownership, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and motivated by the opportunity to shape something new.

Requires a minimum of 3 days in office- additional days as needed.

What You’ll Do

Office & Operations Leadership

  • Serve as the primary liaison with Corporate Finance, HR, IT, and Real Estate teams

  • Establish and refine local office processes and workflows

  • Coordinate landlord and building matters

  • Maintain an organized, welcoming, and well-stocked office environment

  • Plan and coordinate team meetings, retreats, and office events

  • Collaborate with Office Administrators across other B&D locations

Finance & Project Support

  • Lead monthly invoice preparation and issuance

  • Coordinate accounts receivable follow-up

  • Support revenue projections and project setup in partnership with Central Operations

  • Prepare project efficiency and reporting materials

  • Assist with contract processing and documentation

Marketing & Business Development Support

  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and interview materials

  • Support conference coordination and industry engagement

  • Manage marketing collateral and quarterly project updates

  • Assist with holiday outreach and client database coordination

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with new hires first day office set-up.

  • Support employee lifecycle activities, including time reporting and exit coordination

  • Guide employees to appropriate HR systems and resource

What You Bring

  • Ideally 5-8 years of office administration experience in a professional services environment (architecture, engineering, construction, real estate investment, or development strongly preferred)

  • A genuine interest in culture-building and creating a welcoming office atmosphere

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Project a plus)

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with sound judgment

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfort working independently and initiating tasks without prompting

  • Adaptability and confidence navigating a role that will evolve

  • Experience with Workday, SharePoint, or Monday.com is a plus

This role's target base annual salary range is currently $65,000-. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate, and pay relative to other team members.
